So, this winter, one of my really good friends Bethany, along with hubby Jake and 7-month-old Landon, came home for the holidays! Bethany and I met in the dorms at CSULB my freshman year, her sophomore, and began to cultivate a really strong friendship, made even stronger in the ties of Christ. Her husband, Jake, is in the Army and soon after their beautiful wedding (which I was so honored to be a part of!) they were stationed in Germany. Little did I know, and luckily for me, I ended up studying abroad the following Spring and was able to visit them there! Anyways, while I was visiting them, Beth was SUPER prego, seriously. At this point, I hadn't seen her since a couple weeks after the wedding, so going from that to having a belly-filled-with-baby between us when we hugged was strange to say the least! Anyway, background being said, this was the first time I got to meet Landon in person rather than always seeing him on my computer screen via skype, and - let me tell you - he's even cuter in person :) Naturally, the camera loves him!

Thanks to Beth for catching this last shot!
Bethany is a photographer herself! You can check out her work at Shades of Gray Photography :)
Now that I'm back in Long Beach for Spring semester, catch-up dates with friends are lining up!! I recently went to lunch with my dear friend, Debbie. She's so down to earth and I can always count on her for some amazing, godly conversation filled with the latest updates, how God is working, and lots of laughter and encouragement. Her blog, snapshots & sunshine, is filled with more of the same! Here's a few shots of our lovely date - doesn't the food look great?!
